Celebrate Earth Day in Banff on Friday, April 22nd! We’re hosting a Community Clean-Up walk to pick up litter on local trails. It’s a fun opportunity to get outside, meet like-minded people and do some good for our local environment.
If you’d like to join, please register in advance so we have a rough idea of numbers.
Once you’re all signed up, meet us at 12 Noon in Bison Courtyard. Everyone is welcome, even if you can only join for part of the afternoon.
Around 2PM, we’ll head back to the courtyard to enjoy light refreshments courtesy of Wild Flour Bakery & Jolene’s Tea House, including tasty freshly baked snacks from the outdoor oven.
Our friends at Bear Street Tavern are also offering a special 10% Earth Day discount to all our clean-up participants!
The Bison Courtyard team will provide garbage bags and some litter picking supplies but we recommend bringing your own gardening or protective gloves if you have them. All collected recycling and garbage can be dropped off at the courtyard and we’ll make sure it ends up in the right place.
This event is 100% outdoors in the fresh air! Make sure to dress for the weather and slap on some sunscreen. Washrooms are available onsite at Bison Courtyard.
Look forward to seeing you there!
