Fifty years ago, 20 million people in the US took to the streets for the first ever Earth Day. The momentum they created brought together environmental movements across the country and eventually the world. Over the years, this wave of support assisted the creation of many of the organizations and regulations that protect our environment today.

There’s still a long way to go to achieve a sustainable future and we all have a part to play. And it’s easy to get involved from home!

To celebrate 50 years of action for the planet, we want to get your creative juices flowing. Join our Earth Day Art challenge and show us your vision for the world in the next 50 years.

How do you imagine the future of our planet? Cities full of green skyscrapers and vertical farms? Solar panels on every roof? Highways just for bicycles?

Bring your vision to life using any medium you like – paint, draw, collage, potato print, make a sculpture out of yoghurt pots – it all counts! Photos and videos are great too. This challenge is open to ALL AGES – if you’re at home with your family or housemates, why not create something together?

Your creations will be featured on our website and social media channels, and we’ll be awarding prizes to the most inspiring entries.
